In spring 2011, Trump indeed began weekly appearances on “Fox & Friends” on Monday mornings. The appearances provided an opportunity for Trump to do … well, pretty much what he still does these days on his less frequent “Fox & Friends” appearances. Over and over he has referred to the “Fox & Friends” hosts as his beloved pals. The “Fox & Friends” crew didn’t ask Trump to cite a few examples of these “forest cities.” Twitter, of course, filled in the gaps. At the end of the fiasco, the topic returned to Trump’s alleged agreement to visit “Fox & Friends” every week.
